Movies in the Park: Wonder (Anti-Bullying Event)

This week the City of Madera Parks& Community Services Department is teaming up with Madera Unified School District, the City of Madera Police Department, Grocery Outlet (Madera,CA), United Way Fresno and Madera Counties and Love Madera to fight against bullying by spreading awareness.

The City of Madera’s Parks & Community Services Department is proud to partner with key sponsor, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) to host an 8 week Movies in the Park series during the summer at Lions Town and Country Park. Guests are treated to old fashioned summer evenings with movies under the stars. This program is free to attend, making it a great opportunity for the whole family!

When: Friday, August 10, 2018
Anti-Bully Event (Activities/Guest Speakers): 7:00 pm
Movies begin at dusk – approximately 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Where: Lions Town and Country Park on Howard Road
(In the amphitheater between Granada and Schnoor Avenues)

Don’t forget the bug spray! The amphitheater is next the park’s canal and you wouldn’t want to be bothered by pesky mosquitoes while you enjoy the movie.

*Alcohol and pets are not allowed
